Here is the gang that came this weekend...Buchers,Lights,Leitner.Bates,Olshefski,Koreny,Meredith,Wible,Ober,Landvater,Davis & Jacobs. What a beautiful weekend...sunny..hot.. and just a beautiful Spring weekend!!! Friday nite started off with Meatball Sandwiches & a Campfire!!! Sat AM...I awoke to the smell of Pancakes and sausage(I even had seconds!). After Breakfast, we had a short business meeting then we loaded up to go to a local Amish Mall of Dutch Crafts. 3 Buildings of gift shops...Food Court..Furniture shops.. and the yard was filled with Storage Barns, swing sets, porch swings, gazebos, even a cabin . we caughtsnacks for lunch here. then back to camp to relax. Supper was Potluck from everyone with Pork Meat and Filling provided...yum..yum... you didn't starve here... We then Sang "Happy Birthday" to Carl Light!!! Happy 81 Carl....You're Lookin' Good!!!
We got to talk to all about their travels, Did you know? Olshefski were on the road for the past year(3 total Caravans )...20,000 miles around the USA and also a trip to the Mexico Baja. They had lots of pictures to show and also a beautiful Mexican Blanket to show. They were on their way home now but made one more stop to this Rally(Rest I think).
We also had a new couple Steve & Linda Koreny from Christiana,Pa. members for 2 years join us for the first time. They are avid bike riders and Kayak explorers. They rode bike everyday from wed till monday..they know how to stay Overtime!!! One day they rode 16 miles ..then 15 another maybe 40 miles for the week...wow!! They also plan to some day soon take off For the open road and Fulltime. I hope they had fun with us ...we sure did with their company...Steve has some quick jokes. His wife said he has a new audience now...
Sunday ..Breakfast on your own..Then off to Morning Star Flea Market in Thomasville. Another 50 acre lot of tables of Antiques?? Some as cheap as 50cents. Back to camp for leftover potluck and Hot Dogs.. This whole weekend was FUN!! and cheap eating too ...Only $6.00 each person ...and Friday nite camping fee was picked up by the club. Thanks to all... Eric &Sue Wible /Host & Dale & Jackie Meredith (the chefs and food supplier). Here's the Gang that went to Parkview Rally in Harrington,Del. Jacobs,Landvaters,Davis,Leitners & Buchers (Joan is missing, she is taking the picture!!) April 9-12,2009. All the activities and meals were well planned out, a Good time was had by all who Attended.

March 28,2009 we have another get together at Hoss's in York,Pa. This is the last one for the season, Camping starts next month. We are all axious to get the Airstream out and start using it! Monday, Dennis & Carol leave for the Cherry Blossom Rally in Wash DC, then in 2 weeks some are going to Parkview's Rally in Harrington, Del. Then Our 1st Unit Rally is coming fast in April 24-26 in York at Indian Rock Campground. Make your reservations NOW!!! Remember this is a "Free-bee Friday Night" pay only for sat night. Join Us!! Joan & I enjoyed a second cup of tea under the awning by the campfire. I dusted off the suburban and then we rode our bikes to the nearest town called Watercolor. A new town built on the design of Cape May, NJ. The tall beach properties are multi balconies with a tall overlook deck on the forth story. The colors are just un-describable. Every color in the rainbow soft pastels with accents of contrasting colors. The landscaping is perfect every street is brick paved with turquoise and blue pavers intertwined with gray pavers making it look like lace for streets. We stopped at the next town also a new town called Seaside. The first thing we notice were 4 vintage Airstreams setup in the town market square as vendors. The first was a 1960’s Bambi selling shirts and slushy’s. The one on the end, the forth one was a health juice bar. Two other Airstreams in the middle were licensed from Colorado were not yet setup they together are going to be making and selling bar B Que food one does the cooking and the other does the selling according the young man running the first Airstream vendor. We walked around the market square admiring the many shops and the tall new building that were built since we were here two years ago. Watercolor and Seaside have grown or doubled in the last two years and they are still building in both towns. These towns are picture perfect I call paradise. We always take a tour through the corner grocery market as the shelves are 14 feet high stocked with many foods you don’t normally see. The shelves with their colorful goods were worth taking pictures.

The girls on the street were wearing scanty bathing suits heading to the beach from the stores. We took a tour of the shops on the other side of the road that divides the beach area from the town square. We toured a pavilion that had tables and chairs all made of shinny aluminum with an overview of the beach. People laying on the beach sunning themselves. A few were in the water. I counted over 100 bright blue umbrellas with two blue matching chairs and a young man with a clip board taking rental fees for the umbrellas and chairs. We checked out some more shops and lots of the shops were jewelry, stylish clothes and all kinds of glass. We decided to eat at the Pickle Place it had a large menu but we settled on the Paradise Hamburgers. After lunch we went to the Airstream vendor on the end and spoke to the young man and Joan bought the pink tee shirt with the picture of the Airstream and logo called Fast Bites. We arrived home at 12:45 pm temp is 70°. Joan is relaxing outside behind the Airstream that faces the lake. Bill & Joan

This just in??? Joan was making Sandmans along the beach in St.George Island,Fl. And she says she misses snow??? Does she make SandBalls to throw at Bill?? Let's wait and see!!!!!
